We design and test toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
WCAG 2.2 Level AA is our target for ridgely.ca. We have not had a formal third-party audit, so we don’t claim certification, and we fix barriers as we find them.
What we do
- Semantic HTML and meaningful headings
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
- Readable colour contrast
- Labelled form fields and clear, announced error messages
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Respecting reduced-motion settings
- Layouts that work when you zoom or enlarge text
- Touch targets large enough to tap comfortably
- Support for screen readers
